And as many of you know, the MC11000 can be upgraded at any time to bring it up to the capabilities of the newMC11000SE. This is the Version 2.0 upgrade and it includes a software upgrade as well as an upgrade to the machine itself - the so-called hardware upgrade. This upgrade costs $599.

There is also a subsequent minor (free) update to version 2.1 available from the Janome America web site. We can do the update for you if you would prefer.

And now there is a new update - Version 3.0.

The new upgrade comes with a new square hoop which is 180x180mm - large enough to quilt a six inch quilt block with room to spare as well as bonus embroidery quilt designs.

Other features include:

• Enhanced AcuFil quilting system with AcuFil square hoop capability
• More AcuFil calculator features with easier layout and design combinations
• Expanded Acuguide cloth guide features
• Expanded start/stop button features
• New one stitch stop option for drawing up bobbin thread
• Expanded bobbin thread sensor and alert settings for embroidery
• New hoop calibration option
• New shell tuck options added to blind hem
• Additional option added to rolled hem for using optional 4mm and 6mm hemmer feet
• More quilting application stitch options added - clasp stitch, free motion, new sculpture, hand look

The cost of the version 3.0 upgrade including the new square hoop is $399. Bring your machine in to either Balcatta or Joondalup to be upgraded. We have stocks of the upgrade at both stores.

If you can't get to us but you can get to an Australia Post Office, we can send any machine to you using Australia Post's very efficient COD service.

That way you pay Australia Post for the machine and the postage and walk out of the post office with the box. But please remember that if you have a local Janome dealer, you are almost always better off buying locally.
